People keep asking me for the shrimp dip recipe I have talked about on the radio. My mother-in-law introduced me to this holiday staple in our household.
In a mixing bowl combine:
4.5 ounces of petit shrimp
8 ounces of cream cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon minced onion
1 tablespoon minced green onion
2 tablespoons minced celery
1 teaspoon pickled relish
Dash of favorite hot sauce (I am partial to Louisiana Hot Sauce of Crystal)
Dash of Worchester sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste
Blend by hand, place in serving dish and chill one hour in the refrigerator
I like to eat it with crackers, corn chips, on celery or just by the spoonful.
