New Orleans Police say a multi-vehicle crash turned deadly this morning.
"A subject involved in this incident has been pronounced deceased. The incident is now under investigation as a traffic fatality," Officer Reese Harper said in an email.
It happened just after 8:15am on the interstate.
"The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a multiple car accident at the intersection of I-10 West @ Crowder Boulevard."
Harper said that the on ramp to I-10 West at Read Boulevard was shut down and urged everyone to avoid the area.
