Congress is on a two-week break, while one of the House's most conservative members seeks to oust a fellow conservative from the speaker's chair. So when House members get back to work after their two-week Easter break, will Louisiana Republican Mike Johnson be at risk of losing the speaker's gavel?
"I actually don't think he will be replaced as speaker, I just think it's internal power politics," said political analyst Ron Faucheux. "They don't even have anybody they can replace him with."
Georgia Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene admits her motion is meant more as a warning, and Faucheux says it's not a serious threat to Mike Johnson's speakership.
"I think most of the conservatives in the House understand that they're not likely to get anybody better than Mike Johnson," he said. "It was more of a warning shot than it was intended to be a kill shot."
