Dooky Chase reopened for business Tuesday, after the deadly shooting that took place there over the weekend.
The family marked the reopening with a prayer as they and the staff continue with their mission to serve the public.
A priest blessed the building before it opened, and Mayor Helena Moreno and other New Orleans officials were on hand for lunch.
The mayor told the public that police will arrest the culprit and they will be prosecuted.
