Saints draft pick Tyler Shough got a taste of New Orleans a few nights ago by having his first meal in the city at Drago's. The restaurant's owner says that might be a good sign for Shough, the Saints, and their future.

"Drew Brees's first dinner in New Orleans was with Sean Payton, and it was in our restaurant at Table 50," Drago's owner Tommy Cvitanovich said to WWL's Tommy Tucker, referring to the quarterback who led the Saints to a world championship in Super Bowl XLIV. "I'm a typical Who Dat, so I'm superstitious, and maybe this guy is going to have the same type of career as Drew Brees and bring us a Lombardi (Trophy). I'm all in!"

According to Cvitanovich, Shough walked into his restaurant last weekend after being drafted.

"One of my managers recognized him," Cvitanovich said. "Next think you know, Tyler is sitting with my brother. Then my mom and another person comes in. Now we have a 10-top sitting in the dining room. He sat with us. He came in for a quick dinner. He wound up sitting with us for a couple to three hours."

Cvitanovich says if Shough can play football as well as he can charm people, he'll be a winner in no time.

"If this guy can throw touchdowns and run a football team the way his personality works and how nice he is and how sincere he is about wanting to be a New Orleanian, dude, we're in for a really, really good quarterback and a nice young man," Cvitanovich said.  "This kid is really looking forward to being not only a New Orleanian (but) he wants to be a Who Dat."

Cvitanovich said he's looking forward to seeing what Shough can do as the Saints' signal caller.

"He ready," Cvitanovich said. "He's just raring to go."
