New Orleans Police say a carjacking victim turned the tables on the carjacker in the Garden District.
It happened Sunday evening shortly after 5:30pm at St. Charles Avenue and St. Mary Street.
"Victim driving in area when subject jumped into passenger side of vehicle," according to an initial police report.
The man driving the car told cops that the attacker implied he had a weapon.
"Victim armed himself," according to the report. "Suspect exited vehicle and was later arrested."
The suspect is identified as 44-year-old Quinn Massey.
He is in the Orleans Parish Prison without bond.
