The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant led to three individuals arrested and the discovery of one-half pound of methamphetamine, cash, and a stolen shotgun.
According to the sheriff’s office, on Friday deputies arrived at a home in Ponchatoula to find Hilton Hollie who they say was wanted on outstanding warrants.
When deputies spoke with the homeowner about why they are there, a man in the home, later identified as Frank James, fled from the residence but was quickly detained by deputies. While speaking with the people in the house, deputies spotted a firearm in plain view inside a vehicle parked outside the home.
That prompted a further search of the home says the sheriff’s office.
As agents began to process the scene, they were shocked to discover a ½ pound of a white powder later determined to be methamphetamine. Agents also located approximately four grams of suspected cocaine, a shotgun that had been reported stolen earlier this year from Pearl River County MS, along with various forms of drug paraphernalia, and a whopping $29,400 in cash.
The three people inside the home, Jay Adams, 49, Shannon Culler, 40, and Frank James, 40 were arrested.
At this time, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is still actively searching for Hilton Hollie.
