The New Orleans Police Department says a man was shot early Saturday morning at Clara and Sixth Streets.
That is in the Central City neighborhood in an area that used to be the Magnolia housing project.
Police say it happened around 3:50 a.m.
New Orleans EMS took the victim to UMC.
