Early voting ends this Saturday in the April 24th Louisiana congressional runoff.
The race to fill the congressional seat which was vacated when Cedric Richmond took a position as advisor to President Biden, remains the hot topic on the ballot.
Two Democratic state senators from New Orleans, Troy Carter, and Karen Carter Peterson are in the runoff.
Also on the ballot in some precincts is a French Quarter Economic Development tax increase, and a series other local elections across the region.
Early voting runs from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from April 10 to April 17.
