The Municipal General and Special Primary Election is coming up May third.
Runoff elections will take place in several parishes to finalize races that began in March. Special elections will also be held to fill open seats.
Voters can expect to see local issues on the ballot, including mileages, tax proposals, and amendments to city charters.
Early voting continues through Saturday, April 26th with the exception of Sunday the 20th in observance of Easter.
