Early voting for the April 24 election in Louisiana begins Saturday.
Troy Carter and Karen Carter Peterson are on the ballot for the U.S. Representative 2nd Congressional District runoff. Also on the ballot in some precincts is a French Quarter Economic Development tax increase, and a series other local elections across the region.
Early voting runs from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from April 10 to April 17. Early voting locations will be closed on Sunday.
