An 81-year-old woman is the latest victim of a New Orleans carjacker.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the carjacking happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday on Mazant Street near North Derbigny in the Upper Ninth Ward.
Investigators say the woman was standing next to her car when the suspects approached her and pushed her to the ground.
After that, the suspect jumped into the woman’s 2013 Nissan Sentra and sped away from the scene. Police did not say if the woman suffered any injuries during the carjacking.
