Heather LeBlanc with Entergy says the smart thermostats efficiently manage energy by learning temperature preferences, usage habits, and can be controlled from a smartphone.
“You can program it when you’re home or you’re away or you’re on vacation, you can set a schedule for each day of the week. And so you save money when you’re not home,” LeBlanc explained.
LeBlanc says the smart thermostats learn your habits and adjust automatically. She says they save energy when you’re away and get your home comfortable before you return.
“You’ll save some money, because your AC and heating units will not be running as much during the day when you’re not home. Then it will, hopefully, save you some money on your utility bill,” LeBlanc said.

“You can choose whichever thermostat you’d like, then you verify you’re an Entergy Louisiana customer with your address or your account number, and we will ship the thermostat to your home for free,” LeBlanc said.
The promotion runs through the end of the month or while supplies last.
