The New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board says it has 93 out of 99 pumps available for the expected heavy rain. But while most drainage pumping stations have at least some pumps in service, WWL-TV reports on station has no pumps available.

Drainage Pumping Station 17, which pumps stormwater out of Gentilly and Bywater, has two pumps out of service due to problems with their electric motor.

WWL-TV reports that pumping station only has two pumps.

Other outages include one out of four pumps out at DPS 10 in New Orleans East, and two out of five pumps out at DPS 16 in the east.

There is one pump on emergency standby only at DPS 13 in Algiers, while five other drainage pumps there are operational.

All underpass pumping stations are reported as in service.

Additionally, SWBNOLA says two turbines are available to power the pumping stations, and three diesel generators are also available.
