Essence Fest enters its 30th year in The Crescent City and they have pulled out the stops. Usher will headline the main stage as he celebrates twenty years since his iconic "Confessions" album dropped.
Also confirmed, in a rare siting, The Cash Money group and New Orleans's own Hot Boyz will reunite as the label celebrates its 30th year as well.
Rounding out the slate of talent are the likes of Janet Jackson, Billboard's Best New Artist Victoria Monet, Busta Rhymes, Charlie Wilson, and Frankie Beverly and Maze.
The Essence Festival of Culture brings and estimated $375 million to the local economy and about 3600 jobs. It was one of the most well attended festivals in the U.S.
