At approximately 9:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to a report of a man down in front of a residence on Long Leaf Lane near the intersection with Destrehan Avenue.
When they arrived on scene, they located an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside of a home.
He was transported to a local hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.
There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
