The holiday season can be full of memorable surprises, and for some that is newfound love.
But if your timeline runs parallel to the holidays, should you debut your new flame at the family Christmas celebration?
Certified Life Coach, Martha Huey, says the holidays can serve as a perfect time to meet everyone all at once.
"If everyone is going to be together, it's good. Just keep it at I'm bringing someone along."
Huey says keeping it casual won't set off any bells so that family can't come prepared to give a third degree. She says if need be, make the disclaimer that this is just a light and greet and to save the hard hitting questions for another time.
She does however offer a bit of advice.
"Be practical and keep your head. The holidays can make things seem magical and exciting."
So, it's best to wait until the tinsel settles before evaluating where the new romance might take you.
