The New Orleans Saints hold an open practice this afternoon at the Superdome, then will play their final preseason game this year on their home field this Sunday.
After four years of work, the latest round of Superdome renovations is finally done.
"You'll notice, instantly, the space," said Superdome spokesman Mike Hoss.
Hoss says they have opened up a lot more space for people to move around.
"Since the ramps are gone on the west side, and the east side, everything pushes toward the outer wall of the building," he said.
That has also allowed the Dome to add more places to buy food, and drinks.
"Ramps are gone, 40,000 square feet, so now you have larger concourses, more amenities," Hoss said. "On the west sideline, just like the east, you have a 40-yard bar in the middle of the concourse."
The open practice is at 1 p.m. Friday, and the Saints and Tennessee Titans kick off Sunday afternoon at 1.
