A man accused of murdering his three children by setting the family's New Orleans East house on fire last October now faces a formal indictment.
Cops say video from the scene shows the father walking out and driving away as flames engulf the home in the 4900 block of America Street.
Joseph Washington is charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of obstruction of justice.
Police say Washington set fire after making threats against the children's mother.
The mother was at work and called police, but help arrived too late.
