St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's are investigating an accident between a car and bicyclist last night.
It happened around 8:30pm near Carroll Road and Shady Lane near Slidell.
The bicyclist involved in the accident sustained extensive injuries and had to be airlifted to a hospital.
He is listed in critical condition.
The female driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other charges and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
