It will be a beautiful Thursday with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s. It will be breezy at times with low humidity. Tonight will be a cool one with lows in the 50s away from the lake. The New Orleans metro will drop into the mid 60s. Friday will be similar with sunshine and highs near 79 degrees.
Some high clouds move in from the west this weekend with highs in the low 80s, but still a very pleasant feel! Even as humidity and temperatures increase slightly into next week, we don't look to return to summer-time conditions. Perhaps we are done with the 90s!
Peter and Rose barely hanging on to tropical depression status and neither poses a threat to land. TD 18/Sam remains well east of the islands, not even nearing them until early next week. Plenty of time to watch; most models steer the storm away from the East coast. Models also in agreement of the Gulf remaining rather quiet through the end of September. Stay tuned!
