Bullets were flying from the New Orleans CBD to New Orleans East Monday night. NOPD says two women and three men were shot in four incidents.

The first was around 8:45pm in the 14000 block of Partridge Lane in New Orleans East.

"Initial reports show a woman sustained a gunshot wound to her body. EMS transported the woman to a local hospital," Officer Reese Harper emailed.

Less than two hours later there was a shooting at the intersection of Bienville and Treme Streets.

"Initial reports show that a man sustained a gunshot wound to his body. The victim was transported to a local hospital."

Another man showed up at the hospital just after 11:00pm with a bullet wound. It was later determined he was shot near Michoud and Lake Forest boulevards.

After that someone gunned down two people at Loyola Avenue and Poydras Street.

"The NOPD is investigating a double shooting... Initial reports show that a man and a woman sustained gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both victims were transported to a local hospital."

That call came in just before 11:30pm.
