New Orleans Police say four people were shot from about 8:00pm Sunday to just after midnight.
The first happened in the 4200 block of Johnny Jackson Blvd. near the I-10 in Gentilly.
"Initial reports show a female victim with at least one gunshot wound," according to a news release. "She was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment."
Less than three hours later there was more gunfire. This time it was in Central City.
"The NOPD is investigating a shooting that occurred late yesterday evening at the intersection of Felicity Street and Simon Bolivar Avenue."
The victim was an adult male with a gunshot wound to the arm.
Just after midnight another gunshot victim went to the emergency room.
"The NOPD is investigating a shooting at an unknown location. Initial reports show a male victim showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound."
Around the same time, there was a shooting in the 1700 block of St. Philip Street.
"Initial reports show a male victim with a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment by EMS."
There was no word of any arrests, suspects or motives.
