Arctic air is bringing a big chill to Southeast Louisiana.
"It’s a very cold start with temperatures in the 20s and 30s," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone said. "Today stays cold but sunny with highs in the 40s."
He says we will have another freeze tonight.
"Frost is possible on both sides of the lake. Protect plants again Monday night."
Things warm up quickly after that.
"Highs reach the low 60s Tuesday, upper 60s Wednesday, and the mid 70s by Thursday."
