After a long, two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, French Quarter Festival returns to New Orleans April 21- 24.
The festival will feature 256 music acts and food from over 50 vendors.
“The city of New Orleans is on a rise, we are leading not only on the state level but on a national level battling this COVID 19, and nothing will stop us now,” said New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell.
French Quarter Festival President and CEO, Emily Madero says, “We are returning strong with over 1,800 local musicians, more than 50 chefs and restaurants, new interactive fan experiences, and evening programming across the city. FQFI is proud to kick off the festival season in New Orleans with a truly authentic celebration and we welcome everyone to join us for an unforgettable four days.”
Tank and the Bangas, John Boutte, Amanda Shaw and Rickie Lee Jones are among some of the headline acts to perform this year. The official full lineup schedule will be released later in March. The festival will be open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. each day of the event.
