A man is recovering from an elbow wound after a shooting on the edge of the French Quarter.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, that shooting happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Royal and Canal Streets.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. No word on his condition or if he has been released from doctors' care.
Police are still investigating what led up to the shooting and who the suspect might be.
