The New Orleans City Council will be sending another amendment to voters in April asking for a tax increase to help pay for police protection in the French Quarter.

On a unanimous vote, after numerous votes on miniscule changes to the original amendment penned by Council member Kristin Gisleson-Palmer, the amendment now goes to a city wide vote on April 24, 2021.
