The changes to Saturday's parade schedule in the city of New Orleans is forcing krewes and city leaders to make a minor adjustment to the city's Friday night Mardi Gras parade schedule.
According to city officials, Friday's parades will begin 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled.
"NOPD announced that tonight's parades will start earlier due to parades starting early tomorrow," city officials said in a push notification sent via NOLAReady. "Oshun rolls at 5:30P (with) Cleo at 6P & Alia following."
Saturday's parades will begin at 9:30 a.m. because of the threat of inclement weather later in the day.
