Hundreds of law enforcement officers held a funeral procession through Baton Rouge this morning for slain State Police Officer Adam Gaubert. Gaubert, a 19-year veteran of State Police, was killed last Saturday, allegedly by Matthew Reese Mire as part of a shooting rampage across the Capital Region.
A procession of Police motorcycle units led a number of other vehicles through Baton Rouge Saturday morning ahead of the service at St. George Catholic Church. The funeral, which is open to the public, will start at 11 AM.
Gaubert was one of two people suspected to have been killed by Mire.
