On October 12, 2019 tragedy struck the city of New Orleans when the Hard Rock Hotel construction site collapsed.
Anthony Magrette, Jose Ponce Arreola, and Quinnyon Wimberly are the three construction workers killed when the unfinished upper concrete floors and steel girders came crashing down.
It took ten months before for New Orleans Fired Department rescuers could safely enter the partially-collapsed building and retrieve the remains buried under rubble.
On Monday, the one year anniversary of the collapse, artist Antonia Zennaro displayed three-story photographic banner along the side of a building adjacent to the Hard Rock collapse sight. The memorial has been dubbed the "Memorial for the Hard Rock Three" by the contributing artists.
