Grand Isle residents may now drink their water without first boiling it.
Jefferson Parish officials say tests show the water is safe to drink following a water main break on Sunday. Crews have since repaired that line and brought water pressure back up to regulation.
The Privateer side of Barataria was also under the boil advisory. Officials lifted their advisory on Tuesday.
