Around 8:30 this morning Kenner Police responded to reports of gunfire in the near the intersection of Hanson Place and 3rd Street.
Arriving officers found a man suffering from three gunshot wounds.
The wounds were determined to non-life threatening and the victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police have learned that immediately after the victim returned home and parked in his driveway, a dark color Kia Optima stopped in front of the victim’s residence and opened fire.
The victim was struck by gunfire as he was seated in his vehicle.
Denzel Anthony, 31, Harvey, has been developed as a person of interest in this shooting and Kenner Police are seeking his whereabouts.
