Longtime New Orleans Recreation Department chief executive officer Larry Barabino will resign from his post.
City officials say they have received Barabino's resignation letter, but they did not say when Barabino's resignation would become effective.
Barabino is in his second tenure as NORD's head, serving since December 2018. He previously ran the department under Mayor Ray Nagin from 2006 to 2009.
