New Orleans Police Department officers are investigating a deadly hit-and-run that happened Friday evening in New Orleans East.
Police say a tan hatchback struck two pedestrians at the corner of Chef Menteur Hwy. and Majestic Oaks Dr., then continued east-bound on the highway.
"New Orleans EMS confirmed a 63 year-old male was deceased at the scene," said police. "Another victim was transported to hospital."
Officers say the hit-and-run vehicle should have damage to its front and left side.
