The NOPD is investigating a homicide near the intersection of Poland and Claiborne Avenues Wednesday.
“At about 10:52 a.m., NOPD Fifth District officers responded to a medical call at the location,” NOPD said in a news release. “Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with an unspecified wound seated inside of a silver SUV in the foot of the westbound lanes of the Claiborne Avenue Bridge near Poland Avenue.”
The victim was pronounced at the scene. No further information is available at this time.
