The bad news: Nobody won the Powerball jackpot last night. The good news: Someone in Louisiana is a newly-minted millionaire thanks to Saturday's Powerball drawing.

According to the Louisiana Lottery, a Powerball ticket for Saturday night's $1.4 billion drawing purchased in Houma matched all five white balls but not the red Powerball. That ticket is worth $1 million to the person who's holding it.

Lottery officials say the winning ticket was purchased at the Plantation Truck Stop and Casino at the intersection of LA 311 (Little Bayou Black Drive) and LA 664 (St. Charles Street). That store will receive a bonus from the Louisiana Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

The person holding the million-dollar Powerball ticket has until April 4, 2024 to claim his/her prize.

The jackpot for Monday night's Powerball drawing sits at $1.55 billion.
