The following is a list of school closures and delays for Tuesday and beyond:
ORLEANS PARISH:
NOLA Public Schools are closed until further notice.
Catholic schools will be closed for both in-person and virtual learning at least through Monday, Sept. 6.
Trinity Episcopal School will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Louise S. McGehee School and Little Gate will be closed Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
St. George's Episcopal School will be closed on Monday, August 30, and Tuesday, August 31.
Louisiana School for the Deaf and Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired will be closed on Monday, August 30, 2021 due to weather conditions from Hurricane Ida. Please include our schools, with students from all across the state, in your listings of school closures.
JEFFERSON PARISH:
All public schools closed at least through Tuesday, Aug. 31.
St. Martin's Episcopal School located at 225 Green Acres Road, Metairie, LA 70003 closure Tuesday, Aug. 31 due to Hurricane Ida.
A Different World Academy will be closed Monday, August 30, and Tuesday, August 31.

Xavier University Closed at least through Wednesday, Sept. 1
Southern University's Baton Rouge campuses will be closed on Monday, August 30 and Tuesday, August 31.
Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) is closed Monday, August 30
Nunez Community College will remain closed through Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Northshore Technical Community College will be closed Monday, Aug. 30.
