An expansion joint on I-12 in St. Tammany Parish gave way, causing some damage to vehicles traveling through the area.
It happened on east-bound I-10 near the Tchefuncte River.
Eyewitnesses reported several tow trucks on the scene.
Louisiana State Police confirmed reports of vehicular damage, but says no one reported any injuries.
Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development crews responded to the scene to make repairs.
