The northbound lanes of I-59 near Pearl River reopened after officials say a ‘major vehicle crash’ shut it down.
The St Tammany Fire District No 11 reports the crash happened Monday night near exit 11.
I-59N was shut down, backing up traffic for miles. A medical transport helicopter was called in to transport one individual injured in the crash. Their condition is unknown at this time. Officials say I-59 reopened around 10:00 pm.
