One week from today, the election will be over -- or will it?
Pollster Ron Faucheux thinks it may take some time to sort things out.
Faucheux says just about every survey is within the margin of error, with Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump neck-and-neck.
"We don't know if the election continues for weeks after next Tuesday, because of recounts and lawsuits and everything else," he told WWL's Newell Normand. "When an election is this close, polling has trouble really getting at the precise differences."
Faucheux said any one of a hundred things could happen down the stretch to tilt things one way or another.
