The Louisiana Fire Marshal's office is investigating a fire that killed a 70-year-old Terrebonne Parish woman and sent her 70-year-old boyfriend to the hospital this past weekend.
"The Little Caillou Fire Department responded to the fire at 6:17 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025, located in the 5300 block of Bayouside Drive in Chauvin," Spokesman Ken Pastorick said in a news release. "The home had no working smoke alarms."
He said that the cause of the mobile home fire is still under investigation.
