She may be 81, but New Orleans icon Irma Thomas isn’t easing up on her schedule.
With a performance at the 2022 French Quarter Fest already in the rearview mirror, Thomas is headed to an even bigger stage. She’ll hold court at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival’s main stage on Sunday after having already graced the festival’s “Jazz Tent” last weekend.
But before all that, she’ll make her considerable presence felt on Thursday on “CBS Mornings.”
A CBS News spokesperson told the New Orleans Advocate/Times-Picayune that the interview with Thomas will most likely air during the program’s 8 a.m.
hour. The two-hour program runs from 7-9 a.m. on weekdays.
