
Easter New Orleans style means celebrating with food, family gatherings, and parades!
The French Quarter Easter parade kicks off its 40th year on Sunday. The parade begins at 1pm.
The starting point for the parade is just in front of the Omni Royal Hotel. Then, the festivities on the street continue.
The Gay Easter parade begins at Armstrong Park with a route through the quarter. It rolls on Sunday at 4:30 pm.
Now if you are looking to fill bellies with crawfish, you're in luck. They are aplenty and prices won't set you back much.
Boiled crawfish are going for an average of $3.50 per pound, while live crawfish are going for an average of $2.65.
