The pandemic has taken a toll on Mardi Gras krewes in Orleans and Jefferson Parish.
Today, the Jefferson Parish Council will discuss ways to salvage Mardi Gras parades by possibly allowing parades to roll over the Memorial Day weekend.
The council will also consider not penalizing krewes who decide not to roll in 2021 due to the pandemic.
