A Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s deputy is recovering at a hospital this morning after he was struck by car yesterday at the corner of South Carrollton and Palm Avenue near the Costco.
The motorcycle officer was on escort duty when the accident happened.
The injured officer was transported to a hospital where he is expected to recover.
NOPD conducted an investigation of the accident.
No other information was released.
