President Joe Biden's campaign co-chair and former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu says that Biden doesn't have any concerns about mental fitness and added 'nor do I.' But WWL's Newell Normand had some problems with that.

"They don't want you to believe what you're actually seeing. They're calling it a cheap fake, deep fakes, say that the videos are being manipulated. You're watching things live on CNN, MSNBC, Fox. You see it for yourself what's actually happening. And they they're trying to convince you that that's not what you're seeing. Messaging is all a muck. It's a stray. They're trying to get you to believe something that actually didn't happen, although you saw it. It's an interesting strategy that's being deployed by Democrats at the present time."

In fact, Landrieu went so far as to say Biden has taken this country from being in a 'cataclysmic downfall,' to actually leading the world once again.

"Of course, he doesn't give you any examples of such," Normand said. "I mean, if leading the world on illegal immigration is something to boast about, then. Yeah, we're leading the world in illegal immigration. If sustaining inflation is something to boast about and yes we're leading the world there. In fact, in a number of the major European countries inflation is dropping at a faster rate. If. We are talking about leading in the failing."

Newell pointed out a recent survey says that 46% of U.S. electric car owners want to go back to the internal combustion engine. In multiple countries -- including the U.S., China, Germany, Norway, Australia, France, Italy, Japan and Brazil, 29% of electric car owners want to return to driving internal combustion engines, with 46% of American electric car owners wanting to do so.

"And guess why? You're not going to believe this. It's for all the same reasons that everybody's been talking about -- that everyone said that we were gaslighting the public about. Number one issue: Lack of charging infrastructure and in fact, the implementation of the the infrastructure for electric vehicles is ... It's failed strategy. It hasn't worked," Normand said.

"So if leading on the failure of the implementation of this policy is something to boast about, then we're there. We're the leader."
