Cops are looking for a man who allegedly killed one person and wounded several others in a shooting last year on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish.
"The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating 18-year-old, Gerald Lampkin, of Marrero," Sergeant Brandon Veal said in a news release. "Lampkin is currently wanted on charges of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted first-degree murder, and obstruction of justice."
Detectives identified Lampkin as a suspect in a Marrero shooting in July of 2023.
"During the incident, four adults were shot with one being killed."
Veal explained how people can share tips.
"Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Lampkin is asked to call Det. Ryan Vaught from our Homicide Section at 364-5300 or contact Crimestoppers."
