A New Orleans judge rules that the city may proceed with securing the Plaza Tower ahead of possibly demolishing the 55-year-old skyscraper.
The judge rejected a petition for a temporary restraining order requested by Plaza Tower's owners. Contractors arrived in New Orleans last week to begin inspection work at the building, just before a judge put that work on hold pending the hearing.
