Kenner Police say a traffic stop led to them seizing an AR-15 rifle and a lot of drugs.
Cops pulled the Nissan Altima over in the 1600 block of Newport Place last Thursday. Police say officers noticed the AR-15 and 30-round magazine sitting in plain view in the car's back seat.
According to Kenner Police, further investigation turned up 300 prescription narcotic pills, 58 grams of marijuana, and several jars of THC wax.
Cops booked 24-year-old Daron Narcisse and 21-year-old Datrell Gregory on narcotics and weapons charges.
Police say an ATF gun trace will be completed on the AR-15.
