Kenner Police say a driver hit a 16-year-old girl walking to a bus stop this morning. She suffered critical injuries.
It happened on Vintage Drive at Chateau Pontet Canet drive.
Kenner Police Captain Michael Cunnigham says the driver remained on the scene.
It happened around 7:45am.
This comes barely a month after a 14-year-old was riding his bike to school, when a driver hit him.
That happened on September 7th, also on Vintage Drive.
He was seriously injured.
